The specific case of the VIN
The vehicle identification number is sensitive in practical terms: it reveals a vehicle's exact configuration and history.
It is disclosed only to the technician assigned to the job, solely for the purpose of carrying it out, and is never published or transferred to third parties.

Handling intervention requests and performing the contract: pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract.
Replying to contact messages: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Processing technician applications: pre-contractual measures.

Data is accessible to authorised platform staff.
Information strictly necessary to carry out a job is passed to the independent technician in charge of it, who is bound by a confidentiality obligation.

Requests that did not lead to an order: three years from the last contact.
