General
What exactly is a remote intervention?
A technician takes control of your computer via TeamViewer or AnyDesk. Your computer is connected to the vehicle through a diagnostic interface. The technician then drives the manufacturer software as if standing in front of your car, using their own ODIS Online and SFD access.
Which vehicles are covered today?
The current version covers the VAG group: Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, CUPRA and VW commercial vehicles, mainly from 2005 onwards. BMW and MINI will follow, then Mercedes-Benz, then Ford, Renault, Stellantis and Toyota.
How long before I get an answer?
We aim for a first reply within 2 working hours. A request that includes a complete auto-scan is processed considerably faster than a brief description.
Can my garage handle the session instead of me?
Yes, and it is common. Many workshops use us for operations they cannot perform because they lack manufacturer access. Simply add the workshop's contact details to your request.
Technical
What equipment do I need?
A Windows laptop with a stable internet connection, a battery charger, TeamViewer or AnyDesk installed, and above all a diagnostic interface: a VNCI 6154A, which we recommend, or a VAS 6154A. No other model: generic J2534 passthrus often read fault codes but fail during programming, sometimes mid-flash. If you cannot find one, we can supply the VNCI — mention it in your request.
Is the battery charger really mandatory?
For programming, yes, without exception. A voltage drop during a flash can render a control unit unusable. For simple coding or a fault read-out, a healthy battery is generally enough.
What is SFD and why does it change everything?
SFD (Schutz Fahrzeug Diagnose) is the diagnostic lock introduced by the VAG group on recent vehicles. It requires authenticated unlocking through a GeKo account. Only a technician holding that access can work on protected control units — which is precisely what we verify in our network.
Is there a risk to my vehicle?
A risk exists on any electronic intervention, including at a dealership. We reduce it by qualifying the file beforehand, requiring a stable power supply, using manufacturer software exclusively and backing up coding before any change. We turn down requests we consider too risky.
Do you alter vehicle data such as mileage?
No, never. We refuse any request to alter an odometer, remove an emissions device or bypass a safety system. Those operations are illegal in the European Union.
Payment
When am I charged?
Never when you submit the request. You first receive a firm quote. Payment only happens after you accept it, and funds stay in escrow until the work is approved.
What happens if the intervention fails?
If the operation cannot be completed for a technical reason not attributable to you, you are fully refunded. If the failure comes from a requirement not met on your side, a contribution to the time spent may be retained — you are told before the session.
How is the commission calculated?
It is included in the displayed price: you pay nothing extra. On a €150 job, the technician receives €120 and the platform €30.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes, an invoice is issued automatically for every intervention. Businesses can provide their intra-EU VAT number.
Technicians
How do I become a partner technician?
You submit an application, we verify your business, your manufacturer access, your equipment and your references. Once approved, your profile is activated and you start receiving jobs matching your skills.
Is the platform exclusive?
No. You keep your business, your customers and your freedom. You accept the jobs that interest you, when you are available.
When do I get paid?
As soon as the customer approves the work. The amount, known before you accept the job, is paid out without you having to chase anyone.
